The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating several residential burglaries which have occurred in the southeast portion of Acadia Parish. These burglaries have occurred in the Ebenezer area. Suspect(s) are kicking in doors on residents and entering the residence. Once inside, suspect(s) are stealing electronics items, guns and other valuables. Similar crimes are occurring in the northern portion of Vermilion Parish and law enforcement believes that these crimes may be related.
