CROWLEY - Emily Frances Burleigh and Trey Mitchell Lemoine, both of Cordova, Tenn., have announced their engagement to be wed on Saturday, March 9, 2013.

The couple will exchange vows during a 6:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Michael Catholic Church in Crowley. Father Aaron Melancon will officiate the nuptial service.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Francis and Julie Burleigh of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Francis and Teasie Burleigh of Church Point, and Roselyn Genre of Hammond and the late Raymond Genre.

Emily attended Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2010 and is presently employed as a pharmaceutical sales specialist with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals.

The proposed groom is the son of Howard “Duke” and Karen Lemoine of St. Amant. His paternal grandparents are the late Howard and Frankie Lemoine of Placheville; his maternal grandparents are Edward and Viola Gebhardt of Metairie.

Trey is a graduate of Ponchatoula High School, as well as a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is a leasing consultant for Mid-America Apartments and is currently studying engineering at Southwest Community College in Memphis.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Cordova.
