CROWLEY - Tyresha Janae’ Clark and Jamison William Melanson, both of Crowley, have announced their engagement and intent to be joined in holy matrimony on the afternoon of March 30, 2013.

The couple will be wed during a 3 p.m. ceremony at the First Church of God in Christ in Crowley officiated by Bishop Alton Gatlin.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ms. Tawanna Hayes, Isaiha Clark Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hayes Jr., all of Crowley. She is the granddaughter of Irvin George Sr. of California and the late Gladys Hayes, and Ada Hamilton of Crowley and the late Isaiha Clark Sr. of Lake Charles.

Tyresha is a graduate of Louisiana Technical School and is presently employed with Phoenix Behavioral Hospital.

The groom-elect is the son of Mary Vallien Melanson of Crowley and the late William Cade. He is the grandson of the late Alice Vallien and the late John Vallien.

Jamison is a graduate of Crowley High School and is currently employed at Camelot Nursing Home.

Following their marriage, the couple will reside in Crowley.
