CROWLEY - State legislators representing Acadia Parish have been invited to attend the annual Legislative Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, March 28.

Hosted by the Crowley and Rayne chambers of commerce and sponsored by Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation and Cleco, the informational breakfast meeting will be held at the LSU AgCenter at 157 Cherokee Drive.

Remarks from the legislators will begin at 8 a.m., followed by a question-and-answer session.

Sen. Jonathon Perry, Sen. Dan “Blade” Morrish, Rep. Mickey Guillory and Rep Jack Montoucet have been invited to speak at the event.

“With so many important issues facing our state, I encourage local business people to take advantage of this opportunity to voice their concerns and questions to our legislators,” said Amy Thibodeaux, president and CEO of the Crowley Chamber of Commerce.

The 2013 Regular Session will convene at noon Monday, April 8. It will adjourn no later that 6 p.m. Thursday, June 6.
