Renaissance Marquis Assisted & Independent Living

According to Executive Director Renita Chambers, the Renaissance Marquis is kind of like a home away from home for the residents who live there.

She said her staff of 48 employees — including medical staff, the dietary department, office personnel — work tire-lessly to care for the 95 or so residents. They drive them to doctors appointments, provide activities to keep them busy, and generally treat them like family.

“We offer them a safe and secure environment they can live in and get assistance with the activities of daily life,” said Shirah.

Some of the other perks include: planned trips, educa-tional and religious programs, emergency call systems, large suites, an onsite chapel, wellness center and private dining room.
