Whether it’s a birthday, an anniversary, an illness, or a simple thank you, Anil and Katie Patel’s year old franchise can help in a manner that it is both beautiful and healthy.

The shop opened in February of 2010. Katie Patel said that in addition to the fresh fruit arrangements, the shop also offers teddy bears, ceramic containers, balloons and cards for just about any special occasion.

While fresh fruit bouquets are the hallmark of the business, semi-sweet chocolate covered strawberries, bananas and pineapples are also available for that special someone in your life.

One of Anil Patel’s school friends in Virginia introduced the couple to Edible Arrangements a couple of years ago. “I was semi-retired and since I like to be creative, I jumped right into it,” Katie Patel said.

Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day are the biggest days for the shop, however Patel said that “Just because” is becoming a big daily part of the couple’s business.

The shop is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
