Posh Smart & Fashionable Consignment

Posh Upscale Resale doesn’t look like a consignment store. New-looking, designer clothes fill the shelves and hang on the racks.

But that’s because owner Terri Russo-Alesi refuses to take anything that looks too loved.

“They have to look brand new; just missing a tag,” she said. “If I can tell it’s your favorite shirt, it goes back with you.”

The store, at 412 Broad St., sells women’s clothing, formals, accessories, lingerie and shoes.

Everything in the store is sold on consignment. Consigners will only receive payment if their item sells and merchandise is only left out for 90 days.

If it doesn’t sell, the consigner has the option of retrieving their item or leaving it to be donated to charity or placed on the $1 rack. Sellers receive $40 of the sale price.

The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It can be reached by calling 706-232-3330 or by visiting its facebook page.
