Several first cousins from Mississippi whose grandmother, Patty Toler, who was married in Crowley, all spent the day at Crowley City Hall recently. They are also related to Thomas Jefferson Toler, son of Patty and Crowley local, Tommy Gardiner. Among the first cousins were, from left, Kathy Grossman, Mary Dell Hubbard, Elizabeth King, Jane Nash Jones and Martha Louise Jones.

A group of friends recites the rosary together every Tuesday at 9 a.m. at various residential homes. Recently, they also celebrated the 100th birthday of Lula Belle Stewart with sparkling juice, cake and vanilla ice cream. ![]() City Hall was once again the centerpiece of focus for Crowley’s “Holiday Lights and Music Spectacular” as part of the third annual Christmas in Crowley “A Holiday Affair.” The lights and music spectacular began running Monday, Nov. 28 and will run through the new year from 5 p.m. to midnight each night.
