Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. for Jane Ruth LaCombe Petitjean, 68 who died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Petitjean of Rayne, one daughter, Lynette Gotte of Evangeline, two sons, Darren Gotte and wife Kim of Evangeline, Jonathan Petitjean of Rayne, fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three brothers, Earl LaCombe of Evangeline, Tee Man LaCombe and wife Judia of Iota, Joe LaCombe and wife Bertha of Roberts Cove.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa "Totsie" and Robert Nolan Miller, one son, Jason John Petitjean, one grandson, Jason Blake Petitjean, parents, Martin LaCombe and Eliza Cormier LaCombe, five sisters, Virgie Broussard, Ruby Doucet, Dorothy Robinson, Nelda Cormier and Louise Miller, two brothers, Doug LaCombe and J.D. LaCombe.

She was born Sunday, April 16, 1944 in Evangeline, LA, Daughter of the late Martin LaCombe and the late Eliza Cormier LaCombe.

A rosary will be recited Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m..

Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Brandon Miller, Cameron Gotte, Travis Gotte, Casey Petitjean, Bo Petitjean and D.J. Petitjean. Honary pallbearer will be her grandson, Aaron Miller.
