Funeral services will be held Thursday October 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne for Raleigh L. Miller 74, who died Monday October 11, 2010 at Lafayette General Hospital.

Father Clint Trahan associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 yrs. Marie H. Miller of Crowley; one grandson Nickolas and his wife Holly Miller of Orlando Fla.; four great grandchildren Kameron, Haley, Landon, and Brooklyn Miller all of Orlando Fla.; his sister-in-law Shirley Miller of Crowley; and his nephew Allan Miller of Crowley.

Mr. Raleigh was preceded in death by his son Stanley Miller; his parents Roy Miller, and Irene B. Hoffpauir; his brother Roland Miller; and his nephew Joe Miller.

Mr. Raleigh served in the United States Marine Corp. and was retired from the city of Rayne where he worked as an electrical lineman.

Pallbearers will be Nason Leger, Roland Thibodeaux, Kirk Daigle, Elie “Bubba” Suire, Allan Miller, Calvin Hargrave.

Visitation will be held Wednesday October 13, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
