Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. for Randy Lee Guidry, 55 who died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at his residence in Elton, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Marie Link Guidry of Elton, four sons, Seth Fulton and wife Montez of Iowa, Dylan Fulton and wife Adina of Seabrook, TX, Robert Fulton of Lake Charles, Corey Guidry of Elton, two daughters, Hannah Guinn and husband Drew of Jennings, Tessa Guidry of Baton Rouge, two brothers, Ken Guidry and wife Lyn of Rayne, Ronnie Guidry of Duson, one sister, Caroline Menard and husband Larry of Rayne, fifteen grandchildren, Erik, Hayley, Emma, Kaitlyn, Alexis Gabrielle, Keagan, Ethan Miia Belle, Elle Guinn, Halle, Davin, Mia Fulton, Kain, Kohl Fulton, grandmother, Mildred Guidry of Rayne.

He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Beulah Guidry.

He was born Thursday, June 20, 1957 in Crowley, LA, Son of the late LLoyd Guidry and the late Beulah Boudreaux Guidry.

He was a carpenter by trade and worked for Ribbeck Construction. Randy was an extremely skilled craftsmen who spent his time in his woodworking shop in Elton and his fishing camp at Bunlick's Lake. He was a devoted father and grandfather to his six children and fifteen great grandchildren. Randy's greatest times were shared with family and friends visiting and cooking on his back porch.

A rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m..
