The Acada Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a burglary, which occurred at Riviana Foods Inc., located at 2034 West Mill St. just west of Crowley. The incident occurred between the dates of July 3 – July 6, 2010.
During the burglary, suspects removed 500 – 600 feet of copper wire, 1/4 to 1/2 inch round and 250 feet of welding leads. It is believed that suspect(s) have knowledge of the operation of the mill, due to the method used during this burglary.
