Vernon Pickney, 43, Rayne, arrested and charged with introducing contraband into a penal institution and simple escape. Bond set at $10,000.
Agents assisted Iota PD and the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Patrol Division following a complaint. LaShona Spencer, 26, Iota, was charged with simple possession of marijuana, public intimidation of an officer and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $4,000.
Agents assisted Church Point PD with the following arrests:
Rickey Thibodeaux, 48, Church Point was charged with littering, possession of oxycodone, possession of soma, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $11,000.
Justin Savoy, 24, Church point, was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace, possession of lorcet and possession of alprazolam. Bond was set at $10,000.
Clarence Robinson, 32, Church Point, arrested and charged with open container and possession of marijuana (second offence). Bond was set at $2,550.
Christopher Malbrough, 25, Church Point, arrested and charged with reckless operation, open container, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $2300.
Courtney Jolivette, 22, Church Point was issued a citation for speeding and simple possession of marijuana.
Joseph Carrier, 19, Church Point was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant. He was also charged with possession of crack cocaine and careless operation. Bond was set at $20,000. Also arrested during the traffic stop was Brigette Latiolais, 18, also of Church Point. Ms. Latiolais is also charged with possession of crack cocaine. Bond set at $20,000.
Bruce Citizen, 19, Church Point, was arrested following a traffic stop by Church Point PD. Mr. Citizen was charged with improper lights and possession of crack cocaine.
