Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wednesday, February 16, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. for Ada Mouton Comeaux, 90, who died Sunday, February 13, 2011, in Gonzales.

Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Vizzini and husband, Wayne, of Gonzales and Deidre Clair Comeaux of Rayne; one son, David Paul Comeaux and wife, Susan, of Lafayette; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Comeaux; parents, Alcide Mouton and Eugenia Vincent Mouton; three sisters, Enite Broussard, Ozite Hebert and Nedia Mouton; and five brothers, Elie Mouton, Jules Mouton, Maurice Mouton, Eddie Mouton and Dudley Mouton.

She was born Monday, January 3, 1921. in Lafayette Parish, daughter of the late Alcide Mouton and the late Eugenia Vincent Mouton.

She worked as a registered nurse for Rayne Branch Hospital and Rayne Guest Home.

Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, Wednesday, February 16, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. until service.
