A Eunice officer on patrol Monday afternoon rode up on a fight involving about 10 people at the corner of Lewis street and Maple avenue. Six persons, including two juveniles, one of whom is pregnant, were eventually arrested.

The officer noted on the call log that he had driven up on the fight at 3:48 p.m. Eventually, every unit on duty was called to the scene to assist in breaking it up and sorting it out.

According to records, the fight began between a pregnant 16-year-old and a 14-year-old girl who had offended the older girl at school.

It eventually involved several adults, all scuffling and rooting around in the street beside a vehicle from which some of them apparently exited for the encounter.

Charged were:

Marcy Boudreaux, 23, 421 Cotton, disturbing the peace;

Kenneth Caesor, 46, 240 Childs, interfering with duties of a police officer;

Racquel Ceasar, 20, 751 Lewis, disturbing the peace;

Derick Dupre, 25, 461 East Maple, resisting an officer.

The girls were turned over to their parents and will face Juvenile Court charges.
