Mr. and Mrs. James Stephen Prevost of Rayne are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Katherine Prevost, to Gerard Victoriano, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Victoriano Sr. of Lafitte.

The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Harold Prevost and the late Norma Prevost of Rayne, and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Harrington of Eunice.

She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Science Center of Shreveport. Katherine is co-owner of Thrive Physical Therapy in Lake Charles.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Robert Victoriano and Gerardine Victoriano of Lafitte, and Mr. and Mrs. Felix Favaloro of Lafitte.

He is a graduate of Fisher High School, LSU of Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and a physician assistant degree from LSU Health Science Center of Shreveport. Gerard is currently employed as a physician assistant at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Lake Charles.

After the wedding the couple will reside in Lake Charles.
