Chuck and Cindi Vondenstein of Rayne are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Marci Ann Vondenstein of Corinth, Miss., to Landon Joe Gurley of Corinth, Miss., son of Joe and Teri Gurley of Corinth, Miss.

The couple will be married during a seven o’clock sunset ceremony on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Private Lake at Wildwood in Guys, Tenn. A receptin will follow on site.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ben A. Meyer, Sr. of Rayne, the late Virginia F. Meyer. Honorary paternal grandparents are Leo and Ruby Spaetgens. She is a 2006 graduate of Corinth High School Academic and Performing Arts Center, 2011 graduate of the University of North Alabama, and is employed by the Alcorn County Electric Power Association.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Gene and Ann Collins, the late Billy Utley, and the late Vernon and Irene Gurley. He is a 2003 graduate of Corinth High School, attended NEM Community College, and is employed by Crinth Gas and Water.

Following their wedding, the couple will make their home in Corinth, Miss.
