A one-thirty afternoon wedding ceremony on Saturday, May 28, 2011 will unite Marie Annette Martin of Frement, Calif. and Cody Thibodeaux of Fremont, Calif., formerly of Rayne. The ceremony will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Rayne, followed by a reception on site.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lorraine Hollidge of Fremont, Calif. and the late Harry Hollidge, Jr. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Colvin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hollidge, Sr., all of Oakland, Calif. She is a 1984 graduate of Washington High School, 1996 graduate of Old Dominion University in Virginia with a bachelor of science in business administration, and is employed in property management.

The prospective groom is the son of the late Oday Thibodeaux and Janell Thibodeaux of Branch. His grandparents are the late Foy and Wilma Fontenot of Branch and the late Anatole and Elice Thibodeaux of Duson. He is a 1994 graduate of Rayne High School, attended LSU-Eunice with a major in animal science, and is employed in property management.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Fremont, Calif.
