The couple will be joined as husband and wife during a seven-thirty Nuptial Mass at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church followed by a reception at The Warehouse in Rayne.
The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are Dornetta Duplechain, formerly of Eunice, and the late Shirley Marcantel of Mamou. Paternal grandparents are Shelby Prather of Eunice and the late Oneida Prather.
She is a 2006 graduate of Louisiana State University, earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans in 2010, and is employed by Select Physical Therapy in Crowley.
The prospective groom’s maternal grandparents are Gladys Newman of Rayne and the late Ganer Newman, Jr. Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Bercier, Jr. of Rayne.
He is a 2005 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU Health Sciences Center in 2011, and is employed by Bercier Family Dentistry in Rayne.
Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Rayne.
