Nolan and Audrey Tauzin of Rayne are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Sonya Lynn, to Brandon Claude Hussey, son of Claude and Tina Hussey of Rayne.

The couple will be married on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at the Rayne Civic Center Ballroom, followed by a reception on site.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Maurice and Delia Thibodeaux of Rayne and the late Felicienne and Alibie Tauzin, Sr. of Cecilia. She is a 2006 graduate of Rayne High School.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Agathe and Roy Comeaux, Sr. of Rayne, Louise Wiltz of Rayne, and the late Michael Hussey of Scott. He is a 2006 graduate of Rayne High School and served four years in the United States Marine Corps.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Rayne.
