ANNUAL FALL BAZAAR – St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau.
The event begins with a fishing tournament on Saturday, September 15 at the Mermentau River. The weigh in will be at 12:00 p.m. at the St. John Parish Hall. A washer board tournament will start at 2:00 p.m.(with music provided by, DJ. Rusty Louivere). Chicken and Sausage gumbo to be served from 4 – 8 p.m. and bingo will begin at 5:00 p.m.
On Sunday, September 16, a BBQ pork dinner will be served from 11 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. For entertainment enjoy children games, bingo, raffle sweet shop, concessions, trash and treasure
and a live auction. Come enjoy a family fun weekend.
