Ashlyn was named to the first team while her twin sister Caitlyn earned second-team honors.
The last time McNeese had a player selected to the All-SLC first team was when former standout Chris Blackwell was named to the first team in 1997.
Ashlyn has led the Cowgirls in scoring the entire season and ranks second in the conference in scoring with 16.8 per game average. She has scored in double figures in 25 games this season and has led the Cowgirls in scoring in 17 games. She also leads the team with a 35.6 three-point percent and 1.7 steal.
Caitlyn leads the Cowgirls and ranks third in the league in assists (4.3). She also leads the team with an 83.0 free throw percent and is second on the team in scoring with 10.8 per game. She has scored in double figures in 14 games and has led the team in scoring in seven games.
McNeese coah Brooks Donald Williams was tabbed as the SLC Coach of the Year after leading the Cowgirls to their first Southland Conference title in 25 years and only the second title in school history.
