Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 1, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley for Barbara “Bob-O” Comeaux, 75, who died Saturday January 29, 2011 at the Crowley American Legion Hospital.

Pastor Loyd Singley Pastor of Northside Assembly of God will officiate.

Barbara was a lifetime resident of Crowley, she was born in 1935 in Iota the daughter of J.L. and Dorcina Thompson, she attended school in Crowley; and loved good food, friends and her smile could light up a room.

Mrs. Barbara is survived by two sons and their wives Jean and Dwana Comeaux, and Bryan and Leisa Comeaux; two daughters in laws Debbie Comeaux, and Gayle Comeaux; eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, all of them brought great joy to her later years, she was also survived by one brother Nathan D. Thompson, three sisters Margie T. Fontenot, Patricia T. Meaux, and Elnora T. Fike.

She was preceded in death by her husband E.L. Comeaux, two sons Edward Larry Comeaux, and Dennis Wayne Comeaux; one brother Anthony Thompson; one sister Geraldine T. Guidry and her parents J.L. and Dorcina Bageaux Thompson.

Visitation will be held Monday January 31, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be held in the Acadia Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley.
