Troopers on Thursday arrested Kenneth James Fontenot, 56, 402 Rosewood Lane, on charges of aggravated rape and molestation of a juvenile girl, approximately age 10, hetween the years of 1993 and 1995.
Detectives said they received a complaint early this month about the alleged acts.
They gathered evidence that supported the allegations made against Fontenot. Based on this evidence, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Fontenot.
U.S. Marshals assisted in the arrest and Fontenot was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail.
