Funeral services will be held Monday January17, 2011 at 10:00a.m. in the Chapel of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley, for Beulah Mae Davis Fontenot, 92, who died Saturday January 15, 2011 at the Southwind Nursing Home.

Survivors include her daughter Betty and her husband Joe Spallino of Crowley; two sons Amay and his wife Irene Fontenot Jr., of Roberts Cove; and Melvin and his wife Angie Fontenot of Rayne; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and twenty two great great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fontenot was preceded in death by her husband Amay Fontenot Sr.; one son James Fontenot; two grandsons Alan Dale Spallino and John Fontenot; her granddaughter Janice Elizabeth Spallino; her parents J.H. and Effie Cormier Davis; two sisters Mary Kibodeaux, and Belle Guillum; and two brothers James Davis, and Enos Delahoussaye.

Visitation will be held Sunday January 16, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service.

Mrs. Fontenot's  family would like to thank the entire staff of Southwind Nursing Home, and also a special thanks to Dr. Katira.

Burial will be in the Acadia Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeal Home of Crowley.
