Kyle Marcantel, a volunteer firefighter, donated blood at the Ville Platte Fire Department’s sponsored blood drive for United Blood Services (UBS). Here, Ebona Carrier begins the process. If you didn’t give this time, UBS will return Friday, August 8, at Wal-Mart in Ville Platte from 12 noon to 7 p.m.
