CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Crowley for Bobbie Jo Stone Gates, 82, who died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 4:10 a.m. at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles.

Rev. Elaine Burleigh, pastor of First United Methodist Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Gates is survived by one son, Robert “Bob” Gates and his wife Cindy of Crowley; one daughter, Janice G. Redlich and her husband Joey of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren, Robbie Gates, Adam Gates, Betsy Gates, Bridget R. Boudreaux, Rachael R. Willis, Jody Redlich, Katie R. Stewart and Alice Redlich; 16 great grandchildren, Kristen Gates, Jack Gates, Hannah Gates, Myles Gates, Abram Gates, Christopher Boudreaux, Benjamin Boudreaux, Julianna Boudreaux, Andrew Boudreaux, Nick Harvey, Gabrielle Willis, Victoria Willis, Jace Willis, Sarah Willis, Mason Stewart and Madelyn Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gates; her parents and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Gates, Adam Gates, Jody Redlich, Scott Boudreaux, Jacob Willis and Mark Stewart.
