Talented boxers were in attendance from numerous points Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Florida and Alabama, with some of the best fighters from the southern United States, right here in Rayne.

Held in memory of Charles Trahan, long-time Frog Capital Boxing Club coach, boxers performed in front of a packed house, including members of the Trahan family as special guests.

In team standings, Frog Capital Boxing Club captured top team honors, having more boxers (five of six entries) win their weight class.

Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make “When the Lights Go Down” a complete success.
