Breaux descendants gather in Mire for reunion.
Decendants of Zephrin Breaux gathered on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at the home of Todd and Kristi Benoit of Mire where they enjoyed a family reunion, in addition to honoring family members with “0” birthdays. The mid-day gathering included members of the Breaux family (Leonce, Ben, Eva and Trixie). Nearly 100 family members were in attendance from numerous points of Louisiana, in addition to Houston, Katy, Kindswood and The Woodlands, Texas. Those in attendance enjoyed a traditional chicken and sausage gumbo with all the trimmings an a number of desserts. Little ones were treated to a fun jump with Nik Benoit also providing boat rides and four-wheeler wagon rides. Special thanks to all who attended and submitted donations for a wonderful day.
