Funeral services were held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel,  at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010,  for Bridgett Lynn Plaunty, 32, who died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at her residence.

Interment was in the Leger Cemetery, Rayne.

Surviving are  her husband, Adam Eugene  Plaunty, Sr.; two daughters, Halie Nicole Adams, and Monica Rachel Plaunty; three stepdaughters, Brittany Nicole Plaunty, Dawn Rachel Plaunty, and Casie Donnelle Plaunty; three stepsons, Adam Eugene Plaunty, Jr., Terrance James Plaunty, and Dorsey Blake Plaunty; four grandchildren; mother, Peggy Sue LaBouve Adams; one sister, Theresa Ann Adams; three brothers, Robert Dale Adams and wife, Maggie, Glen Anthony Adams, Jr. and wife, Adrienne, and Anthony James Adams and wife, Michelle.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jaylen Effie Eve Plaunty; mother-in-law, Delta Mae Gray; and grandmother, Evelia Monceaux.

Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne Wednesday, September 29, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. until service.
