Burglary suspects tracked through Facebook postings

Opelousas police charge that is what two women, two men and a juvenile did while stealing checks from an attorney’s office.

According to police, investigators learned that an individual issuing checks stolen from the officer was employed by a cleaning service used by the firm.

They arrested Trenessa Joseph, 30, and Charell Graham, 18, on charges ranging from felony theft, monetary instrument abuse and criminal trespassing.

Police then developed information that at least four males had entered the business while the women were inside, confirming that when the suspects posted photos of themselves taken while in the business on Facebook.

Thaddeus Salton, 22, Dennis Batiste, 24, and a 16-year-old were booked on burglary and computer tampering charges. A fourth man is still being sought.
