CROWLEY – The Crowley Recreation Department is now taking registrations for its upcoming basketball season.

Registration runs through Nov. 23.

There will be four leagues offered for boys and girls, ages 5-12. They include:

Biddy League - Boys and girls ages 5-6;

Jr. League - Boys and girls ages 7-8;

Minor League - Boys and girls ages 9-10;

Major League - Boys and girls ages 11-12.

The registration fee is $25 for those participants living in Crowley and $35 for those residing outside of the city limits. There will also be a $10 uniform fee.

Registration forms can be picked up at the CRD office located inside the Rice Festival Building on Mill Street or at your local school.

Adult Tennis League

The CRD will be starting a Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles tennis league that will be played at the Glady Trahan Tennis Centre.

A recreational league will be offered as well as a more competitive league that will be sanctioned by the USTA.

League play is slated to begin on No. 19.
