A going home celebration will be held at a later date for Cathie Ayo Robinson.

Cathie was born January 6, 1954, to Mollie and Golden Ayo,

She and Patrick found love and were joined in holy matrimony and together reared two beautiful children.

Cathie leaves to cherish her life a wonderful, attentive and loving husband, Patrick Robinson; her loving and caring daughter, Mollie Catherine Hebert; two granddaughters, Haley Brooke Hebert and Dycie Claire Touchet; her sister, Josephine Morris who loved her dearly; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ted and Lucy Robinson; and a host of sisters-in-law brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

Cathie was preceded in death by her parents; her two sons, William (Billy) Hebert Jr. and Robert Paul (Bobby) Hebert.

To have known Cathie was a blessing in itself as she always put others first, was willing to give of herself and means to those she loved and also just people in need; in the times we live in this in itself is a rare gift, so to all who knew her fondly as “Cat” a rare and precious gem has left our midst, and in keeping with the way she lived life, she has gone to provide her skills in heaven. Cathie will be forever loved and greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne is in charge of arrangements.S

Cathie was a loved and appreciated daughter-in-law. She loved gardening, planting flowers, and generally working in the yard. When in the house, after the work was done, Cathie crocheted afghans and each year brought several to the nursing home where she had worked before retiring. She cared for others.
