CROWLEY - Started in 1955, the Crowley Town Club is a non-profit organization governed by a twelve member board which oversees the daily operations of the facility including the restaurant and bar. Friends can join for delicious food and comradery nightly on Tuesday through Saturday. The new entertainment committee is working hard to provide exciting events for members and their families. In addition to Friday night bingo and occasional live entertainment, special Children’s Night events allow parents to enjoy an evening at the club while their children are entertained. Members also enjoy chef’s night, featuring member chefs and dining service from the Revelers. The club also hosts the weekly meetings of the Crowley Rotary and Lions Clubs.

The Town Club was instrumental in bringing Mardi Gras celebrations to Crowley with the start of its Krewe of Town Revelers. The annual Reveler’s ball gets better every year, featuring entertainment from the members of the club. King Cimmer and the members of his court also support the city’s Carnival d’Acadie celebration.

The Town Club was selected as the June Member of the Month for their recent efforts in conjunction with the Keep It Clean, Keep It Green city-wide clean-up day. Members worked to clean and landscape the exterior of the club. According to Board Chairman Mike Libby, it’s part of a larger effort to improve the atmosphere, entertainment, food quality and overall experience at the club. Anyone interested in joining the Town Club can look forward to making lots of new friends. Contact any member of the club to learn more about individual and family memberships.
