Charlie was a respected attorney with a heart of gold and a jovial spirit. He was a devoted father, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. He will be deeply missed by those of us fortunate enough to have been touched by his endearing, fun-loving and generous nature.
With a Jurist Doctorate from Louisiana State University, Charlie practiced law for thirty-four years in Rayne, Louisiana (his second home).
He was a member of: the Louisiana Bar Assoc, Acadia Parish Bar Association, the Bar Association of the U.S. Fifth Circuit, Fifteenth Judicial Bar Association, and Inn’s of Court.
He was active in the City of Rayne Planning Commission (presently as Chairman), the 1983 Centennial Commission, Phi Kappa Psi, and the Lion’s Club for many years.
We, the family, would like to extend our sincere appreciation to his fellow attorneys, colleagues, friends and the community for their benevolence through this difficult time. The love and support we have received are a testament to how dearly Charlie was loved.
