Survivors include husband Alberto Alaniz of Morse; one daughter Tiffany Jordan of Crowley; two sons Dave and his wife Nichole Jordan of Gueydan, and Walter Guidry of Morse; two brothers Marvin Roy of California, and Murphy Roy Jr. of Morse; one sister Jody Laughlin of Crowley; nine grandchildren Aaron LeJeune, Jordan Broussard, Logan Broussard, Blane Lacoste , Jake Jordan, Nicholas Hanks, Steven Jordan, Brooke Habetz, and Amber Habetz.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents Murphy and Shirley Winfrey Roy Sr.; one brother Robby Roy; and one sister Faye Dupont.
