Mr. and Mrs. John M. Fontane of Duson are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Meagan Elizabeth Fontane, to Jason Christopher Wauters, son of David A. and Dianne L. Wauters.

The couple will exchange vows of holy matrimony on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Scott. A reception will follow at the Scott Events Center, formerly Fezzo’s III.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fontane of Bunkie, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Breaux, Sr. of Franklin. She is a 2002 graduate of Acadiana High School and 2006 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Meagan is employed with Flirt Boutique.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Wauters of San Antonio, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe L. Kuciemba of Bryan, Texas. He is a 1999 graduate of Mansfield High School and 2004 graduate of Texas A&M. Jason received his MBA from the University of North Texas and is currently employed by Texas Instruments.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Dallas, Texas.
