Escorted by her father, the bride wore a wedding gown of white satin featuring asymmetrical draping that created a strapless surplus bodice and fitted turso. Swirls cascaded from the skirt to a gathered bubble hemline while the back featured a corset-tied back that flowed into a chapel-length train. A simple headpiece held a double-layered fingertip veil of sheer illusion finished with a rolled satin hemline. She carried a nosegay bouquet of green and aqua hydrangeas, green cymbidium orchids, hypericum berries, and accents of white pearls gathered by an aqua ribbon.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Katie Jennings. Bridesmaids were Kaylah Bailey and Laura Bertrand, friends. The bride’s niece, Analei Jennings was junior bridesmaid.
Bridal attendants each wore a knee-length, strapless dress of aqua douppioni silk designed with a ruched waistline while carrying a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet.
Serving as flower girl was Olivia Benoit, cousin of the bride. She wore a tea-length dress of white satin fashioned with a tufted skirt and bubble hemline. An aqua sash accented the empire waistline. She carried a grapevine ball enhanced with green hydrangeas, green cymbidium orchids and aqua ribbon.
Attending the groom as best man was a friend, Cade Charlie. Groomsmen were Rob Reed, cousin of the groom, and Luke Duplechin, a friend.
Ushering guests were Trey Aymond, cousin of the groom, and Jon Reed, a friend.
Male attendants each wore a formal silver Parisian tuxedo with aqua vest and tie with a green cymbidium orchid boutonniere.
For her daughter’s wedding, the mother of the bride wore a jacket dress of a crushed shimmer pistachio tone designed with a bead treatment on the jacket and V-neckline.
The groom’s mother selected a champagne hammered shimmer jacket dress featuring a tiered skirt, empire waist and beaded details.
Immediately following the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds were honored during a reception held at Union Hall in Rayne.
Among the refreshments enjoyed by the guests was the wedding cake, a three-tier, round, white confection featuring piped beading details and embellished with cascading green hydrangeas and cymbidium orchids.
The groom’s cake was a traditional chocolate fudge layered confection formed in the shape of the Bible.
Following a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn, the couple will reside in New Orleans.
