Couple plans July vows

Don and Jan Alleman of Rayne are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Emilia Alleman, to Eric Daniel Hessler, son of Fred and Karen Hessler of Montvale, New Jersey.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Edgar and Florine Daigle of Church Point and Dalfred and Joyce Alleman of Rayne. Meghan is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, graduate of Louisiana State University majoring in accounting, and currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area and while employed in the advisory practice of Ernst & Young LLP in McLean, Virginia.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mae Hessler and the late Fred Hessler of Norwood, New Jersey and the late Gilbert and Barbara DeWolfe of Old Tappan, New Jersey. Eric graduated from Pascack Hills High School in 1999 and obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in accounting and information systems from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area and is employed by Ernst & Young LLP in their McLean, Virginia tax practice.

The couple plans to wed at the St. Malo Chapel on the Rock in Allenspark, Colorado in July of 2011.
