HAHNVILLE -- Services will be Friday for Louisiana 5th Circuit Court Chief Judge Edward A. Dufresne, Jr. He died Dec. 7 at age 72.

Prior to being elected to the circuit court, Dufresne was St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court and 29th Judicial District judge.

He was owner of Jackie Bee Investments and Esperanza Land Co.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy and four daughters.

Arrangements are by H.C. Alexander, Norco.
