ST. FRANCISVILLE -- Services will be Saturday for retired West Feliciana Parish educator Joe Tandy. He died Jan. 22 at age 85.
Tandy was princpial of St. Francisville High for 14 years, then became parish high school supervisor for 12 years.
He was active in the La. High School Athletic Assn., served on its executive committee for years and was a member of its hall of fame.
While a student at LSU he was manager/trainer of the basketball and baseball teams.
Survivors include his wife Catherine and four children.
He served as Principal, not princpial.
