ALEXANDRIA -- Services will be Friday for former State Rep. Bud Brady. He died Apriul 1 at age 72.
Brady represented voters in Caldwell, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides and Winn parishes. He served in the Legislature under Govs. Edwin Edwards and Dave Treen.
He played football at LU before transferring to NSU.

Brady worked on the Washington staff of Rep. Speedy Long before being elected to the Louisiana House in 1976, where he served until 1988.
After leaving politics he became a real estate appraiser in Alexandria.
Arrangements are by Forest Lawn.
