BATON ROUGE – Services for civil engineer Dr. Louis Capozzoli will be Thursday. He died May 16 at age 82.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and founded of Louis J. Capozzoli and Associates, an internationally known geotechnical engineering firm, specializing in consulting work on soils and foundations jobs.

Survivors include his wife, Laura.

Arrangements are by Resthaven.

Former KC executive

LAFAYETTE ‑ Services for long-time Knights of Columbus official Leo Cavell will be Thursday. He died May 16 at age 83.

Cavell, a U.S. Navy veteran, was executive secretary of the Louisiana State Council Knights of Columbus and editor of its monthly newspaper from 1954 until 1992.

Survivors include his wife, Lina; six sons and two daughters.
