Long-time judge

MINDEN – Services for city, district and appeal court judge Cecil Lowe will be Thursday. He died Feb. 25 at age 89.

He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. He was a district judge for Bossier and Webster Parishes for 12 years and an ad hoc judge on the Second Circuit Court of Appeal. He was also a former Minden city attorney and was city judge for more than 20 years.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter.

Arrangements are by Rose-Neath.
