LAFAYETTE – The Demon Victory Tour, featuring Northwestern State coaches and athletic staff, will make its Acadiana-area stop Thursday at 6 p.m. at the home of Dan and Mary Beth McDonald in Youngsville.

There will be giveaways, food and a chance to win tickets to the Sept. 10, 2011 Demon football game at LSU during the event, which runs from 6-8 p.m. at 112 Piedmont Lane in Youngsville and will feature Demon head football coach Bradley Dale Peveto.

Demon apparel and gear will also be available for purchase and posters and schedule cards will be provided free.

The goal of the summer tour is to generate enthusiasm for the athletic program and in particular the upcoming football season.

Attire is casual and guests may arrive and depart at any point.

A brief program featuring Peveto, NSU athletic director Greg Burke and associate athletic director Dr. William Broussard will be held at approximately 7 p.m.
