Dianne Hanks Nixon, 67, of Kiln, MS passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in Gulfport, MS.

She was a resident of Hancock County for the past 35 years and was of the Catholic Faith.

Dianne was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Nixon; and her parents, Issac and Elida Hanks.

She is survived by her four children, Henry Nixon of Tuscaloosa, AL, Shane Nixon and his wife, Wendy, of Kiln, MS, Celeste Albaral of Bessemer, AL, Carla Carlson and companion, Robert, of Diamondhead, MS; brother, George Hanks and his wife, Liz, of Muncie, IN, sisters, Lillian Guidry of Rayne, Jackie Leger and husband, Gerard, of Duson; special friend/sister, Karen Leech and husband, Wade, of Kiln, MS; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS.

A prayer service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2011, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home with interment in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis, MS.
