Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held October 29 at 7 p.m. at Joppé Café in downtown Crowley. It was hosted by the parents of the groom.
The scripture was read by Janice LeJeune and Stacie Fontenot. Elizabeth Cart, godmother of the groom, and Gwendolyn Zaunbrecher, godmother of the bride, brought the offertory gifts to the alter.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a one-piece strapless full A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline. The gown was regally embellished with embroidered floral lace, crystal beads and sequins on the ruched bodice and around the tied-back corset. It was finished with a scalloped hem along the bottom of the gown and train. She chose a single-layered waist-length veil with a coordinating lace hem. Her beautiful bouquet was white gerbera daisies adorned with her grandfather’s rosary.
The maid of honor was Caysi Bellard, friend of the bride. Serving as bridal attendants were Moné Douget and Dawn Bertrand, sisters of the bride, and Eve LeJeune, sister of the groom. The attendants wore tea-length satin strapless gown with a side drape and a lovely brooch as an accessory. Each attendant carried a single white daisy.
The best man was Glenn Dorr, friend of the groom. His groomsmen were B.J. Douget, brother of the bride, and Ross Servat and Josh Webb, both friends of the groom.
Serving as ushers were Josh Bertrand and Mason Deshotels, both nephews of the bride. The flower girls were Emily Chesson, goddaughter of the bride, and Madison LeJeune, goddaughter of the groom. The ring bearer was Ross Bertrand, godson of the bride.
Immediately following the wedding ceremony was a reception held at the Grand Opera House of the South in Crowley. A three-tiered square cake with black scrollwork on a white background accented with white gerbera daisies was served to the couple’s guests.
The groom’s cake was a chocolate cake with cream-cheese flavored filling. It had white icing with a chocolate fudge drizzle, topped with chocolate covered strawberries and monogrammed with the couple’s initials.
Both cakes were designed by Daisey Cakes located in Rayne.
A wedding trip to Riviera Maya in Mexico will be the couple’s honeymoon destination. After their trip, the newlywed LeJeunes will reside in Crowley.
