Funeral services will be held Saturday Aug. 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Durphy J. Credeur 82, who died Thursday Aug. 12, 2010 at the Rayne Guest Home.

Survivors include his wife Lydia Courville Credeur of Rayne; one son and his wife Daniel and Ann Credeur of Walker La.; one daughter and her husband Michelle and Jonathan Fusilier of Mire; two sisters Stuna Benoit and Eva Dell Credeur both of Carencro; one brother Joseph Credeur of Youngsville; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Credeur was preceded in death by his parents Adonis and Alice Credeur; four infant children; one great-grandson Ashton  Credeur; three brothers Howard, Gilford, and Ivy Credeur; five sisters Anna Royer, Ethel Lee Burliegh, Thelma LeBlanc Meche, Jane LeBlanc, and Dorothy LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
