Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. for Edwin Leo Mouton, 68 who died Friday, January 11, 2013 at his residence in Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are his wife, Amelia Ann Burnett Mouton of Rayne, two daughters, Sheresa "Sheri" Mouton of Lafayette, Stacie Simon and husband Paul of Rayne, two sons, Shannon Mouton and Dawn of False River, Shad Mouton of Rayne, fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, four sisters, Genny Melancon and husband Ronnie of Arnaudville, Patsy Breaux and husband Leonard of Lafayette, Mary Boudreaux of Lafayette, Linda Mouton of Roberts Cove, two brothers, James Mouton and wife Judy of Rayne, Greg Mouton and wife Sherry of Scott.

He was preceded in death by parents, Leo Mouton and Marie Rose Cramer Mouton, one sister, Diana Mouton, one brother, John Mouton.

He was born Tuesday, October 17, 1944 in Rayne, LA, Son of the late Leo Edwin Mouton and the late Marie Rose Cramer Mouton.

He was a member of NRA, Cancer Society, Iron Workers Union.

A rosary will be recited Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, LA

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, January 14, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m..
