Rayne - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. for Elvie Davy Credeur, 83 who died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at her residence in Rayne, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.

Surviving are one daughter, Arlene Broussard of Rayne, two sons, Kenneth Credeur and wife Vickie of Rayne, Patrick Granger and wife Deanie of Sulphur, one step daughter, Beatrice Melancon and husband Mitt of Crowley, thirteen grandchildren, thirthy-five great grandchildren, one sister, Ella Lejeune of Crowley, one brother, Herbert Davy of Crowley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elridge Credeur, one son, Timson Terro, parents, Henry Davy and Germain Duplicien Davy, two sisters, Anna Istre and Ruby Istre, two brothers, Dan Davy and Emery Davy .

She was born Sunday, October 7, 1928 in St. Landry Parish, LA, daughter of the late Henry Davy and the late Germain Duplicien Davy.

A rosary will be recited Monday, April 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home.

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Monday, April 9, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m..
